Born in 1977 in the united states of Naples, Marco has enjoyed playing guitar with friends for quite a long time until, around 25 years old, was captivated by the bass guitar frequencies from Jamiroquai’s work, leading him to starting learning bass guitar playing from scratch.
With great listening skills Marco is quite quick at picking up songs tonalities and with some more experience he’s entered the “bagarie” scene (commercially oriented gigs, with little room for artistic expression) for a little while, only to find out he doesn’t enjoy making music for a living, but instead prefers making a living for music.
Marco joined the project Fun-K-Lab around 30 during his university studies, collaborating to the creations of several Funk pieces and touring with the band around Italy for a few years.
Leaving the live music scene in 2011 he’s since then continued carrying on his own path, until he found again his long term friend, Dario De Rosa (ex drummer from Fun-K-Lab), starting again a new artistic journey collaborating with Salvatore, who Marco defines a musical genius, composer, sound engineer, web developer, guitarist, pianist and amazing singer! (I swear these are Marco’s words)
The rest is history and the best is yet to come!
